Tennessee football vs Alabama: Final score, highlights from Week 8 game – Knoxville News Sentinel

Tennessee football defeated Alabama 24-17 on Saturday in a top-10 matchup for an inside track to a playoff spot.
Neyland Stadium was rocking as the No. 10 Vols (6-1, 3-1 SEC) held off  Alabama (5-2, 2-2) for their Third Saturday in October rivalry game.
Alabama won 16 of the past 17 meetings in this series under coach Nick Saban, but he lost to the Vols in 2022 in an epic game at Neyland Stadium.

Alabama 27, Tennessee 20: Tennessee’s offensive woes seem to be the rule more than the exception lately. So unless the Vols reverse that trend, Alabama has the edge. That being said, this is a winnable game for Tennessee. But it’ll take a strong defensive performance, a rowdy Neyland Stadium and an offensive turnaround. Two of those seem more likely than the other, at least for now. Check out more predictions from our Knox News staff.
