After a thrilling win against Ohio State last weekend, No. 2 Oregon will travel to Purdue for a Friday night game.
The Ducks are riding high after edging the Buckeyes 32-31 behind 341 passing yards and two TDs from quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who led four different drives that put Oregon back in the lead after falling behind.
The Boilermakers were on the other end of the one-point game spectrum last weekend, falling 50-49 to Illinois in overtime. Defense has been the issue for Purdue on the heels of a season-opening shutout of FCS Indiana State. In the five games since then, all losses, the Boilers have allowed an average of 46.8 points per game.
