Calvary WOSL Soccer League Honors – peakofohio.com


The Calvary Christian Spartan boys soccer team has concluded an impressive season in the Western Ohio Soccer League (WOSL), finishing in 2nd place with a league record of 5-1-1.
Their only league loss came against Botkins, which is currently ranked #5 in Division 5 in the state.
Overall, the Spartans boast an impressive record of 11-3-2.
In recognition of their outstanding performances throughout the season, several players were honored.
1st Team All-League selections include Nehemiah Dillon, a junior, and seniors Josh Carnes and Preston Carnes, who serves as the goalkeeper. Their contributions were pivotal to the team’s success.
Additionally, the 2nd Team All-League features Daniel Young, a senior, and junior Trent Comer. Both players played significant roles in the Spartans’ strong season.
Honorable mentions go to senior Luke Gaertner and junior Tanner Hurley, who also made valuable contributions to the team’s performance.
Congratulations to the Spartans and all the honorees for their hard work and dedication this season!
