The Estádio Nacional de Brasília Mané Garrincha, currently called Arena BRB Mané Garrincha due to sponsorship reasons and popularly known as Mané Garrincha, is a soccer stadium and multi-purpose arena located in Brasília, in the Federal District. The stadium is part of the Ayrton Senna Multisport Complex, which also includes the BRB Nilson Nelson Arena, the Nelson Piquet International Autodrome and other sports facilities. 
Inaugurated in 1974, the stadium had the capacity to seat 45,200 people. After the 2010-2013 renovation to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup, its capacity was increased to 72,788, making it the second largest stadium in Brazil and one of the largest in the Americas, behind Maracanã (RJ). The stadium currently belongs to the Federal District Development Agency (Terracap). Initially scheduled for December 31, 2012 and later for April 21, 2013, the new stadium was inaugurated on May 18, 2013.
Among the test events after its inauguration, the stadium hosted the final of the 2013 Brasiliense Championship, on May 18 (Brasiliense vs Brasília) and on May 26, 2013 Santos vs Flamengo, valid for the 1st Round of the Brazilian Championship (Brasileirão). One of the arguments used to rebuild the stadium was that Brasília had no venue suitable for hosting large events, which were then held in the central median of the Esplanade of Ministries or in the parking lot of the old stadium. The stadium has been managed by Arena BSB since 2019, and the current name is the result of a naming rights agreement with Banco de Brasília.
The Brazilian national team is in fourth place with 13 points, but is still lacking in performances. If they beat their opponents, they could move up to second place, depending on the results of Colombia and Uruguay. For their part, Peru won for the first time on the last matchday and are in ninth place with six points. Chile are now bottom of the competition.
Brazil and Peru have met on 51 occasions, including friendlies, qualifiers and the World Cup. The Brazilians have won 37 matches against just five Peruvian triumphs, as well as nine draws.

Jorge Fossati has left out the likes of André Carrillo, Paolo Guerrero and Cristian Cueva for technical reasons, while midfielders Renato Tapia and Yoshimar Yotun and center-forward Gianluca Lapadula are injured.
A curiosity, incidentally, is that all of Peru’s goals in qualifying came from through balls in the box, and with Brazil they have already shown weaknesses in this regard. This type of play can therefore be exploited.
