ATHENS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team was topped by Mid-American Conference power Ohio University, 1-0, Thursday, Oct. 10 at Chessa Field.
 
How It Happened
Ohio scored in the 26th minute off a free kick from 20 yards out to take the lead.
 
The Eagles’ first shot on goal was credited to senior Meagan Lukowski (Bay City, Mich./Bay City) off a corner piece, but the attempt from seven yards out was saved.
 
Redshirt sophomore Ella Holland (Dunwoody, Ga./Dunwoody/Samford) made six saves, highlighted by a 53rd-minute kick save to keep the Eagles within one goal.
