Week 7 of the college football season will feature the New Mexico State Aggies facing a crucial test as they look to turn their luck around against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Wednesday night. The anticipation is palpable, as both teams strive for a much-needed victory.
Jacksonville State’s quarterback Tyler Huff‘s stellar performance in the ground game, rushing for 176 yards and three touchdowns, was a key factor in the Gamecocks’ dominating 63-24 victory over Kennesaw State. Running back Tre Stewart‘s impressive four touchdowns further solidified the Gamecocks’ win.
The New Mexico State Aggies‘ struggles continued as their losing streak extended to four games with a tough 50-40 loss to their rivals, the New Mexico Lobos. Quarterback Santino Marucci had a difficult time getting the offense going, completing 13 of 29 attempts for 189 yards and one touchdown. Marucci tried to make up for it in the ground game, rushing for 42 yards and one touchdown, but the Aggies ultimately fell short.
