Social media slammed the officiating in the game, with many people questioning two targeting penalties that disqualified a pair of key Sun Devil defenders and a Kansas touchdown reception that they felt should have been ruled an incomplete pass.
Fans were not happy with the referees at all during the game, to put it kindly, as “ref you suck” chants filled Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.
