COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M football team held its 10th out of 15 spring practices Thursday on the two outdoor Coolidge Practice Fields. It marked the first practice that GigEm247 and other media members could entirely watch this spring.
The media in attendance were permitted to observe, film video and take pictures during the first four periods of practice (approximately 30 minutes). GigEm247 captured the offensive position groups and special teams in a three-minute video, which can be seen at the top of this story.
During one of the special teams portions of practice, kicker Randy Bond attempted six field goals from different distances. He made field goals from 20, 33, 37, 47 and 52 yards and missed wide left from 41. Wide receivers Moose Muhammad III, Cyrus Allen, Micah Tease and Noah Thomas returned punts.
Reminder. In a press conference last month, A&M head coach Mike Elko named six players who will be out or “extremely limited” this spring: offensive linemen Kam Dewberry (undisclosed shoulder injury), Aki Ogunbiyi (undisclosed injury) and Bryce Foster (with the track and field team), defensive ends Shemar Turner (undisclosed injury) and Enai White (undisclosed lower-body injury), and tight end Donovan Green (torn ACL). Elko said he did not anticipate any of them to be out through the summer.
