Three FC Cincinnati players called up for November qualifiers for 2026 FIFA World Cup – FC Cincinnati

Three FC Cincinnati players have earned call-ups with their respective national teams ahead of the November FIFA international window for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Aaron Boupendza (Gabon), Junior Moreno (Venezuela) and Yerson Mosquera (Colombia) will each compete for their clubs during the international break for the second-consecutive month.
Boupendza will join the Gabonese National Team ahead of the first CAF (Confederation of African Football) qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. Les Panthères are in Group F with five other countries, with the top team qualifying for the World Cup following the 10 matches, and second place earning a potential playoff spot for the World Cup.
Gabon host Kenya in Franceville on Thursday, Nov. 16 before facing Burundi in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Sunday, Nov. 19._ Les Panthères _are seeking their first berth in the FIFA World Cup. Boupendza has earned 27 caps for Gabon, scoring five goals – including one in his most recent appearance on October 17 against Guinea.
Moreno has become a mainstay for La Vinotinto, earning a call-up for Venezuela for the third-consecutive month. The midfielder has earned 39 caps for his national team, including coming off the bench in both of Venezuela’s qualifiers last month.
Moreno and La Vinotinto host Ecuador on Thursday, Nov. 16 in Maturín before traveling to Lima to face Peru on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Mosquera earns his fourth senior call-up for La Tricolor after he made his senior debut with Colombia last month. After coming off the bench in their qualifier at Uruguay, days later he started and went 86 minutes in their scoreless draw at Ecuador.
Mosquera and the Colombian National Team host Brazila in Barranquilla on Thursday, Nov. 16 and then head to Asunción to take on Paraguay in their capital city on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
