During the last few years, Parvizdzhon Umarbaev has been a key member of the Tajikistan, shielding the back four and linking up play for the team. One goal has been scored by him in three games, but that goal came against Pakistan.
As a frontman for Al Hilal, he scored 17 goals in all competitions this season. In the past, he played a crucial role in the victory over Argentina and has become a key player for the national team. In Saudi Arabia’s quest for a World Cup spot, his experience and leadership will be crucial. He has already scored two goals and looked dangerous in the attack.
The FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match between India and Afghanistan will be played at the Central Republican Stadium, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 26 March 2024 (Tuesday).
