Things got ugly at a soccer match in Argentina and it ended with one player leaving the pitch as a bloody mess after getting pelted with a rock thrown from the stands.
Now, I'm sure you have it on your DVR to watch if you haven't seen it already, but on Thursday night Uruguayan team Peñarol was in Rosario, Argentina for a match against Rosario Central.
This match was part of the Copa Libertadores, a tournament which crowns the top club in South America.
As you're no doubt aware, they love themselves some soccer down there. They love it so much, in fact, that even on the first day of group play for this edition of Copa Libertadores, things got completely out of control.
According to Daily Mail, in the middle of the match, things got testy in the stands and some idiot fan decided to throw a rock at Peñrol defender Maximiliano Olivera, which hit him right under the eye.
He went down and then appeared to try to make his way into the stands like a Uruguayan Ron Artest as blood poured down his face.
I'm calling it now: Olivera is a Hockey Guy.
We've all seen soccer players go down in a heap because the hair on another guy's forearm brushed against them. Olivera took a stone to the mug, had blood gushing out of his face, and still wanted a piece of everyone in the crowd.
A South American soccer crowd, no less!
You've got to think if he had been able to get into the stands he'd have given the thrower a piece of his mind Mike Milbury-style.

Fortunatley after a few stitches Olivera seemed to be no worse for wear. He posted on his Instagram story after the match to give fans an update.
"I'm fine! Thanks for the messages," he wrote, per Daily Mail. "Beyond the pain and a few stitches, everything is fine! Hurt by the result that we believe we deserved more"
Again: Hockey Guy.
He's more concerned about the outcome of the match — which his club lost 1-0 (that's a blowout by soccer standards) — than his own face.
You want a team full of Maximiliano Oliveras, that's for damn sure.
