College Football 25: Florida roster player rankings revealed – 247Sports

The release of the highly anticipated College Football 25 is right around the corner, with deluxe edition owners able to fire up the game and start playing on Monday, July 15 at 4 p.m. ET, with the standard release of the game set for July 19. 
Ahead of the release, the studio, EA Sports, has continued to release information on the upcoming game, and the latest reveal is the player rankings for each team. 
Here’s a look at how they ranked Florida’s key players in the upcoming NCAA Football 25 video game:

While Florida’s offense sits outside the top-25 among the 134 FBS teams in the game, the Gators will have the No. 25-ranked defense with an overall rating of 84, which is tied with seven programs: Kansas State, North Carolina, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Texas A&M and LSU. 
Atop the list is Ohio State with a 96-rated defense, followed by Georgia at No. 2 with a 94 overall rating. Oregon, Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan all were ranked 90 overall on defense, followed by Texas, Penn State, Utah, Florida State, Oklahoma and Iowa with an 88-rated defense. Four programs – Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, USC and Auburn – are rated 86 overall on defense. 
The Gators did fare better in the rankings, however, when it comes to the program’s home-field advantage, as Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was ranked as the 10th toughest stadium to play in the upcoming game. 
Atop the list is Kyle Field (Texas A&M), followed by Bryant-Denny Stadium (Alabama) at No. 2, with LSU’s Tiger Stadium at No. 3. The first non-SEC team to make the list was Ohio Stadium (Ohio State) at No. 4, followed by Sanford Stadium (Georgia) at No. 5. Penn State’s Beaver Stadium is ranked No. 6, followed by Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin) at No. 7, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (Oklahoma) at No. 8, Doak S. Campbell Stadium (Florida State) at No. 9 and The Swamp at No. 10. 
EA Sports previously announced that Michigan’s Donovan Edwards, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, and Texas’ Quinn Ewers would serve as the athletes featured on the cover of the game.
