Cape Coral High School’s head football coach has been temporarily removed from the team pending an investigation.
The school district isn’t getting into much detail following Wednesday’s announcement. All we know is Cape Coral High School Seahawks football coach Isaac Harvin was temporarily removed on the last day of school and that the investigation is anticipated to be done before the start of school next month.
Harvin was hired earlier this year as the replacement for longtime head coach Larry Gary, who retired again.
Gary came out of retirement to mentor Harvin in 2022.
Before taking the head job, Harvin was an associate head coach for the Seahawks.
In the meantime, former NFL safety Jaylen Watkins is the interim head coach as the team goes through summer workouts.
WINK News reached out to Harvin, and we are waiting for a response.
