EA's College Football 25 Rankings: Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, Texas Lead Top Offenses – Bleacher Report

The two top offenses in college football could not be more different.
EA Sports released its offensive ratings for College Football 25 on Thursday, with Georgia and Oregon both coming in on top at 94 overall. No other team came in higher than 91 overall, so it’s clear EA Sports believes there is a separation between the two best teams and the rest of the country.

Georgia being in the top spot is a testament to the Bulldogs’ depth more than any one star player. Quarterback Carson Beck is the star of the show and a potential first-round pick in 2025, and he’s surrounded by a strong offensive line, a veteran wide receiver room and a talented transfer running back in Trevor Etienne.
It’s a testament to Kirby Smart’s recruiting—both at the high school level and the transfer portal—that a team known for being more on the conservative side offensively leads the pack here.
Oregon’s placement makes all the sense in the world. The Ducks have recaptured their offensive brilliance under Dan Lanning, and they’ll head into the 2024 season with a loaded unit led by transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel. The sixth-year senior had a breakout 2023 season at Oklahoma before entering the portal and taking his talents to Eugene.
Gabriel will hope he has the same type of success under Lanning as Bo Nix, who parlayed his transfer to Oregon into first-round status.
Alabama returns quarterback Jalen Milroe to lead an offense headed for a major transition under new coach Kalen DeBoer. The Crimson Tide have enough talent for DeBoer to have a strong first season in Tuscaloosa, but there were several departures after Nick Saban’s retirement that will cause some question marks.
Meanwhile, Heisman hopeful Quinn Ewers will lead a loaded Texas offense as it transitions into its first season in the SEC. The Longhorns lost Xavier Worthy, Jonathon Brooks and Adonai Mitchell to the NFL but landed former Alabama star Isaiah Bond and former Houston wideout Matthew Golden to help fill in the holes.
