Kuldeep to Tanzid, starts with a dot ball. Tanzid goes for an expansive pull shot, does not connect and settles for a single. Shanto hits to deep covers for one more run. WICKET! Tanzid tries to cut but is done by the wrong one. He’s been given LBW and he goes up for a review. The ball tracker shows three reds and that’s the end of Tanzid.
Tanzid Hasan lbw b Kuldeep 29 (31)
Towhid Hridoy at No. 4. He clips the final ball to deep mid wicket for one run.

A bottom edge on the final delivery, reaches Pant on one bounce.
This is the highest score at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. India got their thanks to Hardik Pandya’s 27-ball half century. Bangladesh batters have had their troubles this World Cup and they’ll need to put on their best show to get past an in-form India bowling unit.

FOUR! Width again and slapped through cover by Hardik for a boundary. Turned away through square-leg by Dube for a single to end the over. Mahedi ends with 0/28 from his four overs despite taking a beating in this one.

Mahmudullah with the ball. He starts off with a wide down leg-side. Just five runs from the over. Four singles and the wide.
Rishad Hossain again. SIX! Pant steps out and hammers this over midwicket for a maximum and his bottom hand comes off the bat handle in trademark fashion. FOUR! This is swept away to the boundary behind deep square-leg by Pant. OUT! Pant has reverse swept this straight to short third man and his brief but bright knock comes to an end.
Hardik Pandya comes in next and there’s a slip in place for him. Starts off with a single off a misfield in the cover region. Clipped off the toes by Dube to end the over with a single.
Rishabh Pant c Tanzim Hasan Sakib b Rishad Hossain 36 (24b 4×4 2×6)

Suryakumar Yadav. Short ball, hooks and SIX! Brilliant way to start the innings. Appeal for caught behind and umpire raises the finger! Surya is gone for a two-ball six.
Suddenly India is three down. Shivam Dube at crease. Tanzim welcomes him with a bouncer that the left-hander leaves. It’s a wide. He’s off the mark with a single. Terrific over that for Bangladesh.
Rishad Hossain into the attack. In the slot and Kohli lofts it straight over the bowler’s head for SIX. A single on the next ball. Two wides already in this over by Rishad. Kohli is beaten on the outside edge! He then tries to play a cross-batted shot, gets a thickish inside edge for a single. Pant ends the over with a four towards leg side.
India ended the first six overs at 53 for one, bettering its previous best of 50 runs against Pakistan during the group stage.
Mahedi for his third over. Kohli gets a single on the second ball. Pant gives him the strike back on the next ball. Just three singles in that over.
Mustafizur Rahman. Kohli drives towards covers and gets a double. Not a fast outfield here. Slight misfield by cover fielder inside the circle and Kohli takes a single. Najmul Hossain Shanto: We would like to bowl first. We would like to restrict them to a small total and that is the plan. We know the conditions here and also about the wind factor. Looks a good wicket. 150-160 will be a good score I reckon. We have one change. Taskin is not playing.
Rohit Sharma: We wanted to bat and that’s what we got. Looks like a good wicket and depends on how much the sun is beating down and making the pitch slow. Important to assess the conditions quickly. We are playing the same team.
