In the FIFA world ranking released on Thursday, June 20, following certain matches from the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the CAF, AFC, and Concacaf zones, as well as the UEFA EURO 2024 preparations, CONMEBOL’s Copa América 2024, and the OFC Nations Cup, Argentina, with 1860 points, maintains the top position ahead of France. Meanwhile, Haiti has made a significant leap, gaining four new places.
Haiti's two victories against Saint Lucia (2-1) and Barbados (3-1) in the first two rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, CONCACAF zone, have had very positive effects on the Haitian national football team in the FIFA world rankings. With 1274 points now, Haiti has climbed four spots, moving from the 90th to the 86th position.
In the lower half of the table, Haiti is positioned between Luxembourg (85th) and Curaçao (87th), which happens to be their upcoming opponent in the 2025 World Cup qualifiers on June 10.
