Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has emphasized that his team is well-prepared and ready for the upcoming showdown with Mali on Thursday, June 6.

The Black Stars are set to face the Eagles tomorrow in a Group I match of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking ahead of the game to be played in Bamako, Ghana coach Otto Addo indicated that the Black Stars possess the quality to compete with Mali and aim to secure the three points at the end of the match.

“Surely, I think we are ready for the game. I was very satisfied with how the players understood the way we want to play. This is going to be a tough match away in Mali, but we also have the quality to compete against them, although we didn’t have a good AFCON. We have the players to get three points from Mali,” said Black Stars coach Otto Addo.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Mali and Ghana is scheduled to kick off at 7 PM on Thursday night.
