The 2024 NCAA Soccer season is on, and Syracuse University men’s and women’s Orange Soccer teams take to the field for their season-opening matches this week. Here’s a look at the best ways to watch Syracuse Orange soccer games in 2024-25 for free, starting in August and running all the way through the NCAA Soccer Tournaments in December. That includes the best streaming services and which ones have free trials or promotions for new customers looking to avoid paying for cable.
Syracuse Orange soccer games air live primarily on ACC Network and ACC Network Extra, and fans can watch most games for free with:
Additional Games are exclusive to ESPN+, so read on to find out how to watch every game.
Most Syracuse soccer matches during the 2024 season will air on ACC Network or ACC Network Extra.
Additional live games will stream exclusively on ESPN Plus.
Track down your local channel listings for ACC Network with our channel finder: Verizon Fios, Xfinity, Spectrum, Optimum/Altice, Cox, DirecTV
ACC Network Extra, a.k.a. ACCNX, is a streaming-only “channel” exclusive to ESPN.com and ESPN apps — but it still requires a cable subscription or live TV streaming subscription to access. ACC Network Extra access is included in any of the streaming services listed below. Learn more about ACC Network Extra here.
Multiple streaming services offer ACC Network, but the simplest solution for Syracuse Orange soccer fans is to sign up for Hulu + Live TV (3-day free trial, then $76.99 per month). The free trial window is small, but Hulu + Live TV is the only streaming service that includes both ACC Network and ESPN Plus in its base pricing, giving you the most comprehensive coverage for your dollar. Orange Soccer games will be played throughout the fall of 2024, so you’ll need to pay monthly, but Hulu + Live TV will tempt you to stick around with the complete Hulu and Disney Plus libraries, as well as unrestricted access to live sports on ESPN Plus, more than 100 channels and unlimited DVR.
fuboTV (7-day free trial, then $79.99 per month) is another option for Syracuse Sports fans to consider. It offers a longer free trial to new subscribers, and also includes ACC Network and access to ACC Network Extra. It is missing a small number of games exclusive to ESPN Plus, but also offers an additional 190+ channels, unlimited screens and unlimited cloud DVR. College Sports fans will also get access to Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network and ESPN channels, all in the base price.
While it doesn’t offer a free trial, Sling Orange + Sports Extras is easily the next best option, and it’s more cost-friendly than the options above. You’ll get your first month for just $20, plus the $15/month Sports Extras pack for ACC Network. Finally, you can add ESPN Plus for $10.99/month for just $45.99 for your first month of the SU Soccer season. The combined cost will rise to $65.99 for the following months, but it still comes in about $11 cheaper than Hulu+ Live TV.
ESPN Plus ($10.99/month) is generally not the best option, because it does not include every game carried on ACC Network, but it is worth adding on to Sling, fubo or DTV Stream. As a reminder, Hulu + Live TV includes ESPN Plus in its base pricing, so there’s no need to pay extra for the service.
DirecTV Stream Choice (5-day free trial, then $69.99 per month) was another option worth considering, but due to an ongoing dispute with Disney, all Disney owned channels, including ABC, ESPN and ACC Network, have been removed from the service. This service will likely be restored once the two companies reach an agreement. If you act fast, the Tier 2 plan from DTV, which usually includes ACC Network and usually costs $108.99 per month, is on sale for just $69.99 per month for a limited time, thanks to an ongoing deal promoting the start of the NFL season. DTV Stream is still missing ESPN Plus, so you’ll ultimately need to add that if you want comprehensive SU Soccer coverage.
Cable customers with the listed channels in their cable package can also login on ESPN.com and associated apps with their cable credentials to stream the games for free.
