Collin Ryan, a senior, was named the Class D co-Defensive Player of the Year after recording 110 total tackles, 20 for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble and recovery en route to capturing the state championship. He also ran for 250 yards and a touchdown.

Camryn Slade, a junior, was named the Class D co-Defensive Player of the Year after recording 126 tackles, 20 for loss, five sacks, an interception, forced four and recovered four fumbles. He also ran for a team-high 357 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Zach Trietley, a senior, was named the Class C South co-Defensive Player of the Year after a Section VI-high 166 total tackles, including 22 for loss, four sacks and a fumble recovery. He led a Salamanca defense that surrendered just 200 points in 14 games.
