Kathmandu, Dec 1: Nepal was defeated by Pakistan in the semi-final match held today under the Blind T20 World Cup 2024. With this Nepal has been eliminated from the tournament.     
Pakistan won the match by 10 wickets. Chasing a modest target of 95 runs posted by Nepal, Pakistan team met it in 5.3 overs without losing any wickets. The match was held at Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.     
Nepal completed its journey to the semi-final through the league phase. The Tournament is participated by six countries.     
In today’s victory for Pakistan, opening batter Kamran Akhtar was the top scorer with an unbeaten 63 runs with 12 boundaries and one six in 21 deliveries. Babar Ali was not out with 32 runs from 14 balls.     
Prior to this, Nepal batting first, scored 94 in the 20 overs at the loss of seven wickets. Nepal’s Durgadatta Paudel scored the highest 40 followed by Ramesh Baniya’s unbeaten 17. No other batsmen except the two could score a double-digit run from Nepal’s side.     
For Pakistan, Mati Ullah took three wickets and Badar Munir claimed one wicket each.(RSS)
