Boise State keeps churning out wins and now stands to claim a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff by winning out after clinching a spot in the Mountain West Conference championship game. The Broncos are 18.5-point favorites to topple Oregon State at home, win their 10th straight game, and move that much closer to crashing the playoff party. Boise State continues to ride Heisman Trophy contender Ashton Jeanty, who has 2,062 rushing yards and 28 total touchdowns.
Oregon State managed to snap a five-game losing streak last week against Washington State (41-38) to pull within a game of bowl eligibility. The Beavers will have to do that against tall odds facing a good, motivated Boise State team after putting up 484 yards in last week’s win over the Cougars.
