The 100th anniversary of the Turkey Day Classic between Alabama State football and Tuskegee is on Thursday.
The Hornets enter the Thanksgiving game at 6-5. On Saturday, junior kicker Brandon Gilliam made three of his four field goals and the ASU defense held strong as Alabama State beat Prairie View A&M, 9-6.
The Golden Tigers, meanwhile, enter the rivalry at 5-5. Tuskegee was idle each of the last two weeks, but lost it most recent game to Miles College on Nov. 9, 37-7.
The Turkey Day Classic will be shown nationwide on ESPNU. A livestream is also available through ESPN’s website and the ESPN app with a cable provider.
The radio broadcast will be available locally through WVAS-FM, but it can be streamed nationally through the station’s website.
The Turkey Day Classic will kick off at 1 p.m. on Thursday, as the game continues its tradition of being played on Thanksgiving.
